FOCUSED SHOCKWAVE THERAPY
PROMOTE HEALING & REDUCE PAIN

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy sound waves to target specific areas of pain or injury. By focusing these sound waves on tissues such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments, this therapy helps increase blood circulation, stimulate collagen production, and reduce tissue adhesions. These effects promote faster healing, pain relief, and improved mobility.

Trigger Point dry needling

Trigger point dry needling is an effective treatment method designed to target and eliminate trigger points, which are tight, painful muscle areas. This technique involves the insertion of a thin, sterile filiform needle into the skin and directly into the trigger point. Unlike injections, dry needling does not involve medication or blood, hence the term “dry.”

The goal of dry needling is to trigger a "local twitch response" — a quick, involuntary muscle contraction followed by relaxation. This response helps release muscle tension, improve muscle function, and relieve pain. In addition, the needle insertion stimulates sensory nerves, offering an analgesic effect by interrupting pain signals and encouraging the release of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers.

Dry needling may also enhance blood circulation in the affected area, facilitating the flow of oxygen and nutrients while helping to eliminate metabolic waste products. This comprehensive approach supports faster recovery and improved muscle function.

Our team of licensed professionals is extensively trained in trigger point dry needling techniques, with ongoing education to ensure the highest standard of care. We offer both standard dry needling and advanced options, including dry needling with electrical stimulation or neuro-modulation, for enhanced therapeutic results.
